Learning Objectives: Everything made easy

Welcome to this online guide on EKGs and cardiac arrythmias. This guide provides descriptions and EKGs (both static and dynamic cartoons) to present material on basic electrocardiology and cardiac arrythmias.

The site is divided into several sections. To get the most, we recommend you begin with the review of the conducting system of the heart. You can then continue to the other sections in order. If you are already familiar with the conducting system of the heart and the EKG waveform, you may skip directly tothe cardiac arrythmias section. At the end of each section, there are self-assessment quizzes and clinical scenario (small-group style) problems.

Navigation

You can move from section to section by clicking on the topics in the left frame. For the best visual experience, we recommend that you open your browser's screen as large as possible. The menu on top allows you to quickly search for information and navigate to other links.
