| The patient was operated
on via a left posterior lateral thoracotomy through the 4th intercostal
space, and the aorta clamped proximally between the left subclavian
and left common carotid ateries and distally on the mid thoracic
aorta. A 22 mm Dacron tube graft graph was used to repair the
aorta. A thrombus was found attached to the upper edge of aorta just proximal to left subclavian artery. |
