• This format offers fastest downloads and hassle free listening for users of Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and higher. Sound quality is decreased but still very acceptable for study.

Non-streaming, non-compressed sound optimal for CD-ROM, ethernet, cable modem, or other high-speed connections. Support for this format is free and built into Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher. Netscape 4.0 and higher will be configured automatically by its plugin searcher if you select this sound format.

• This is the highest quality sound, but the longest download time (61 seconds per sound with a 28.8 modem).
